Baume & Mercier and its elite watchmaking peers Cartier and Piaget make up the quality timepiece nucleaus in the Richemont Groups impressive portfolio. The tradition-rich brand counts among the most accessible and most affordable watches of the Genevan luxury brands. In the past decade, it has created a number of remarkable-and often copied-classics. The twelve-sided Riviera and the Catwalk have had to step off the stage, but the classic rectangular Hampton continues to evolve. In recent years, the company has worked hard to gain acceptance in the men’s market for its Classima Executives line and to build on watchmaking glory of days gone by, when Baume & Mercier was celebrated as a chronograph specialist.
